Will A Crash Pad Fit in My House?

Will A Crash Pad Fit in My House?

Posted by We Sell Mats on

Gymnasts, cheerleaders, dancers and martial artists can benefit from a crash pad when practicing and perfecting their skills. Our crash pads offer more padding than our folding exercise mats to provide you with the right amount of support to train with confidence. We Sell Mats is pleased to offer three sizes of crash pads that you can purchase for home or commercial gym use. When deciding if a crash pad will fit in your home, there are 3 things to consider: measure your space, choose the right size crash pad, and consider the type of training you will be using it for.

Measure Your Space

The easiest way to ensure that a new crash pad from We Sell Mats will fit in your home is to take some measurements. First, measure the entryway to your home. Whether that is your front door, garage door or sliding doors, consider which entry point is the largest and measure that one. If you want to receive the item through your garage, don’t forget to measure the interior door to your home, as well. Next, measure the space that you intend to use the crash pad in. Will it be adjacent to fixed equipment or moveable equipment? You may need to move some things around to create a large enough space. Once you know the measurements of your entryway and the space you intend to use the crash pad, you will want to review the size options that We Sell Mats offers.

Choose the Right Size Crash Pad

We Sell Mats is pleased to offer three sizes of our crash pads: The Small Crash Pad measures 4’x4’ when unfolded and offers 4” of thickness. The Medium Crash Pad measures 4’x8’ when unfolded and offers 4” of thickness. The Large Crash Pad also measures 4’x8’ when unfolded, but with 8” or 12” of thickness. Please note: both the medium and large crash pads do not qualify for free shipping and include a handling fee due to their size.

Consider the Type of Training

Our crash pads can be used for a variety of training purposes. If you have a child learning gymnastics or cheerleading skills, the small crash pad may suit your needs. The small crash pad is great for use next to skill shape trainers like our tumbling octagons, incline wedges or balance beams. They offer beginner and intermediate gymnasts maximum shock absorption without fear of a stiff landing surface. The medium crash pad may be the right fit for older kids and adults that need a larger surface offering the same amount of support as the small crash pad. The large crash pad comes in 8” thickness or 12” thickness and is ideal for gymnastics vault drills, floor tumbling, bar routines and balance beam training. They are also perfect for cheerleading, martial arts, wrestling, self-defense training, sensory rooms and more!

A crash pad from We Sell Mats can be a great addition to enhance training and practice.
