Where to Use 24x24 EVA Foam Mat Tiles

With our 24x24 interlocking EVA foam mats, you’ll have much more than just a comfortable flooring solution. You’ll also have the perfect padding for yoga, stretching, bodyweight workouts, playdates, classrooms, pets, COSPLAY costumes, and trade show flooring.

Made from a durable, anti-fatigue EVA foam, the 3/8" thickness is designed for moderate padding in light traffic areas and should be installed on top of a hard, flat, indoor surface. These 24x24 EVA foam tiles should not be installed on top of carpet as this will provide an uneven subfloor and increase the risk of trip/slip hazards due to tiles coming disconnected or slipping on the carpeted surface.

When to Upgrade Your 24x24 Interlocking Foam Mat Thickness

If your plans involve setting up a home fitness area or another high-impact, high-traffic scenario, consider upgrading to a 1/2-inch or 3/4-inch foam mat. Keep in mind that no matter the thickness, EVA foam is a soft product, and heavy equipment or furniture is likely to leave a permanent indentation in which we recommend a treadmill or bike mat or a thicker, more durable fitness floor mat option.

Protecting Your 24x24 Interlocking EVA Foam Mats

Although the flooring will not retain shoe imprints, high heels and pet nails will leave permanent punctures. While these are intended for light bodyweight workouts at home, it’s not designed to serve as padding for heavy equipment in professional-grade gyms. Although many customers use EVA foam tiles in their garages for various purposes, please note that they cannot be driven on or parked on.

If using for vigorous exercise, use floor tape to ensure secure placement. Color shades may vary slightly between each tile.
